I am a Counsellor at the University of Stirling Student Counselling Service, and also work part-time at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh as a Fertility Counsellor.

I work with private clients on Mondays or Thursdays, working from Stirling or Glasgow. I have a background of experience as a Career Guidance Practitioner working with adults; currently registered with the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy [BACP], as well as the British Infertility Counselling Association [BICA] and the Institute of Career Guidance [ICG].

My work draws on voluntary experience gained from over 300 hours of telephone crisis helpline work [both overseas and in Central Scotland] and over 450 hours of face-to-face counselling experience. I can work with a range of clients with different issues including occupational stress, lack of confidence, complex career decisions, low self esteem, experiences of bullying, emotional abuse, infertility issues, loss and bereavement.

Clients considering counselling often benefit from an informal discussion with a Counsellor before committing to a counselling contract.

I offer short introductory meetings with potential new clients, so that they have an opportunity to ask me any questions they may have before agreeing to work with me on the number of sessions they choose to book.
